About Family

Most of you know me and some of you don't.Well here's a little bit about me. I was born and raised in a town called Hannibal New York.When I was 10 or 11 years old my Dad said we are moving to Texas.While I have been here alot of things have changed.I have three brothers and one sister all younger than me.One lives in Florida with his family and the others all live in New York. My Mom and Dad also live there now.I found out about 2 or 3 yrs ago my Dad has cancer.It started in his stomach and then moved to his head and under his rib cage then to his spinal cord.He has been doing chemo and radiation treatments for a long time and it has helped. Now it has started moving faster than the doctor want it to.They found that it is in the lining of his scull and has raped around top and bottom of his spinal cord.Their doing more radiation through a tub just above his forehead.This is the latest news I have.All of his family is there but me and my brother in Florida.Back in Feb.2007 we went and saw him when they lived in Florida he looked ok but was sick most of the time I was there.It was good to see them all at that time it has helped me alot.I never really had the best relationship with my parents but over the years I have grown and learned to forgive and forget and have been able to talk with them about Jesus and I have even gone to church with them both.I know that God has his hand in all of this and everyone will be ok.Well enough about that now.Something new later. Life is full of Adventure

My life has been full of ups and downs.But I have been able to get through it all with the help of family,friends and Jesus.My husband is very supportive and understanding.As most of you know my husband is unable to work or do much due to his health.He has been through alot in his life and I have been with him the whole time.We have had to lean on one another through it all.We have a great relationship.Some of you may know that our 25th wedding anniversary is coming up soon.I thank God for giving me these years with Marty.He has been my friend,lover and my strength.He is a very strong man and I Love him very much.In our journey we have had two wonderful boys.They are both grown up now.They are starting there own journey of life.Their both hard workers and have alot going for them.They are there when we need them.
I couldn't have asked for a better life than what I have.God knows what I need and he has given it to me.He has always taken care of it no matter what the need is.If he wants me to have it then I will get it.He has gotten us through a lot of things good and bad.Hes a awesome God.I'm glad to have him in my life.Well guess that's all of that for now.

Now lets get to today.It was a good day.But when the evening got started it was a blast.It is adventure week at My church and so far it has been great.We had alot of kids show up and are sure there will be more tomorrow.Get rested up all who were there tonight because tomorrow is going to be even better and we all need our energy.See Ya Soon.

Update

Everything is going well.Everyone is home and safe.No more worries or stress.Went to church and had a good time.We are starting VBS this week and I am going to be helping as much as possible its going to be fun.Came home and hade lunch with the family then went to the movies with the boys.Went and saw Dark Knight it was great I would like to see it again.This a highly recommended movie.Now I'm home and just finished checking my e-mails.Just sitting here listing to the music on the tv.The boys are taking a nap.Cody has band practice later and Jeromie is just run down I guess.I'm not sure what I will do next but it will be fun I'm sure.Well better go not much else to say so later ya'll.

Things are better.

Well thing have gotten better for me this week.I have talked with Jeromie and all has gone well with his trip.That has made things much better for me.I have had the rest of the week with no worries.Cody and Marty have made things real nice around here to.Marty has done all the cooking and the house has stayed real clean.Cody comes home from work and eats dinnier with us and visit and keeps things fun.
Well now that I have said all that.Here is whats happening now. I have got all my house work done and showered.Now I'm ready to go shopping.Need a few things from wally world ya know.Just got off the phone with Jeromie.They have left Padre and are on their way home should be here around 8:00 or 9:00 pm tonight.
Well I guess thats all for now I will post agian later.

My week so far.

My days have been long.It all started when my youngest son left for camp.Its been different this time for some reason.I can't really explain it, But I will try.He left for padre Island on Saturday the 12th at 4:00 pm and I have only spoken to him three times now.It just feels like he has grown up to fast. I know that Jesus is with him all the time and taking care of him.But I still miss not being with him.
Then on Monday I had to return to work and that has been nice.Then again the next day and then again today.Most of my days are long dew to I have not alot of stuff today and what I do doesn't last long.I also wait for the phone to ring dew to I am the receptionist as well as accounts receivable clerk for the company I work for.
Now I am home and very relaxed and full of a very good dinner that Marty made.He is a wonderful man he cooks for me all the time.It's part of the deal.Lol.I clean up after we are done eating dew to he did all the cooking.This is something we have always done ever sense we got married.He has been a real big help to me. He listen to me grip and complain about stuff that bugs me.He's my night and shinning armor.I love him lots.
I also have to give credit to my oldest son as well.He has been great through all the stuff we have to put up with. God has really blessed him in so many ways.I call him my little drummer boy sometimes.I'm very proud of the men in my family they have grown so much in spirit and in strength.Thanks to all who have played a part in there lives.Thanks to God for being there for us and picking up all the pieces.
